I grew up between Chioggia and Prato — a lagoon town where everyone knows the tide, and a textile city where everyone knows a mill. What struck me about Prato was not the myth of luxury but the noise: cutting rooms at seven in the morning, vans of trims, dye houses two streets apart.

I kept meeting brand owners abroad who admired Italian production but could not get in the door — minimums too high, replies too slow, nobody willing to explain why a fabric cost what it cost. And I kept meeting Italian workshops with capacity, skill, and no one to translate.

AURALUNA exists in that gap. I answer messages myself, I walk the floor myself, and I would rather lose an order than promise a date I cannot hold.
